Understanding exploitation | Online awareness session for parents and carers
In November, Wolverhampton Exploitation Hub are offering two online awareness sessions for parents and carers and would really appreciate your support in promoting these to the families you work with.
The sessions will cover:
- What exploitation is and how it can happen online and in the community.
- Signs that a child may need help or support.
- How to talk with children about exploitation and keep conversations open.
- What to do if you are worried and which services can support children and families.
Parents and carers do not need to have a specific concern to attend. These sessions are an opportunity to build understanding, know what to look out for and find out where to access support.
