Join the Conversation during ICON Week 2026
As part of ICON Week 2026 (21-25 September), ICON is hosting a series of free webinars exploring different aspects of infant crying, supporting families and helping to prevent Abusive Head Trauma. The week brings together professionals, parents, carers and partner organisations to raise awareness of the message: “Babies cry, you can cope.”
This engaging programme of webinars offers a valuable opportunity to hear from national experts, practitioners and individuals with lived experience.
We encourage all professionals working with babies, children and families to attend any sessions relevant to their role and to share the opportunity with colleagues across their organisations.

ICON: Babies Cry, You Can Cope Training for Professionals
Designed for professionals working with babies, children and families, this session will build confidence in delivering the ICON message, promoting safe coping techniques and supporting families when caring for a crying baby.

ICON Awareness Session for Parents and Carers
A supportive session aimed at helping parents and carers understand normal infant crying, learn practical coping strategies, and know where to access help and support. Please share the details with the parents and carers you are working with.

Together, we can help ensure that parents and carers receive consistent messages, practical support and reassurance during the early months of their baby’s life.
