Working Together to Safeguard Children – Safeguarding lead training part 3 | 1st October 2026
Target audience: Children’s workforce safeguarding leads.
Aims and objectives:
- Discuss how to demonstrate professional curiosity and a questioning stance in practice with children and families.
- Encourage knowledge and confidence to help strengthen their ability to work together effectively with other agencies to safeguard children and young people.
- Be able to identify, assess and articulate the impact of risk on the child.
- Demonstrate how the child’s voice, wishes and feelings are visible throughout the safeguarding process.
- Recognise and respond appropriately to barriers and challenges posed within the multi-agency safeguarding arena.
Please ensure that you have completed A Shared Responsibility – Safeguarding lead training part 1 and Thresholds to Support – Safeguarding lead training part 2 prior to attending this course.
