DESCRIPTION:NCDV's mission is to help people identify early signs of domest
 ic abuse\, in order to make decisions for a better life and make domestic a
 buse socially unacceptable.\nThis training session will:\n\nDiscuss the leg
 al definition of domestic abuse and current legislation.\nDiscuss the civil
  injunctions we obtain\, being Non-Molestation Orders\, Occupation Orders\,
  Prohibited Steps Orders and Domestic Abuse Protection Orders (DAPO’s) Pi
 lot explaining each order in detail and their benefits.\nProvide informatio
 n on who NCDV are and what we do to help those experiencing domestic abuse.
 \nGuide you through the many ways to make a referral to the eligibility cri
 teria\, assessing for legal aid funding or assisting to self-represent\, th
 e court process and the order being served. Also\, how you as the referrer 
 receive updates on the progress of your referral.\nDiscuss our smart phone 
 app\, accessible via any app store and available for handheld devices. For 
 Police Forces we also cover how you can access our ASSIST data base that co
 ntains copies of the injunctions obtained and certificates of service.  In
  addition\, there will be an opportunity for questions.\n\nFree to WST part
